This first pass includes a quicker workflow with mouse control, which should lower the barrier to mastering the commands. The console is still active when clicking, and even updates as you work, so you can switch at any time between console and mouse clicks.
The next phase will include more goodies in the value-editing department. And a way to preview the signal waves between inputs and outputs. The spawning system will have a very similar feel to this.
