Snapshot 3.4 release date announced

After many sleepless nights, countless debugging sessions we are very happy to announce that the final release date for the long awaited GTA: Underground Multiplayer and Snapshot 3.4 will be the 25th of December 2020!

Plenty has changed since our previous update back in July 2019, we made great efforts to bring you a lot more content from Rockstar's 3D era alongside custom content made by our creative and talented team members - From new weapon stats to brand new fun vehicles to tune, drive and wreck havok with: Snapshot 3.4 will be one of our biggest updates to GTA: Underground to date - and our christmas present to you!

Renaming Snapshot 3.4 to Snapshot 4

Since the next update is such a big update, we didn't feel right about releasing it under the name "Snapshot 3.4", as it would downplay the sheer size of this update. This is why Snapshot 3.4 will henceforth be referred to as Snapshot 4.

GTA: Underground Multiplayer

Our biggest addition so far in this update will be our very own multiplayer client: UG-MP! For those of you who are new to the mod, UG-MP is our fork of the SA-MP modification which is fully backward-compatible and will include lots of exclusive features and natives for server developers and players to play around with: RGB/Pearlescent colors for vehicles, Radio syncronization, Custom weather sliders and a lot more. Server owners and players will have the ability to choose from 300+ weapons, 700+ vehicles and a staggering amount of 1200+ skins to personalize their own unique servers. Everyone will be able to host their server on UG:MP, but it will also feature a whitelist system - a server tab for unique original servers chosen by our whitelist committee, if you are an owner of an original gamemode you can apply to our whitelist tab if you meet the terms & conditions specified here:

Weapons overhaul

As we talked about in our previous article, all of the 300+ weapons from our previous release have been improved and redone so each weapon will be unique in its own way. You can read more about it here:

Vehicle additions and fixes

More brand new vehicles have been added for you to toy around in GTA: Underground and UG:MP alongside dozen of fixes and revamps! a lot of the added vehicles from previous versions were unfinished/buggy/cannot be tuned, so we have been working hard to fix all these known bugs and implement some brand new vehicles along the way.

Numerous map changes and bug fixes

Like with every update, this update comes with numerous additions and improvements to the in-game map such as the introduction of more GTA: VCS content, the reworking of the Vice City neons, and a lot of R* bug fixes. The old GTA: III and GTA: VC maps always had a lot of minor bugs in them, and we are in the process of fixing most, if not all of them, something which we do by fixing a batch of them in every update.

The return of storyline mode

The fanbase's top requested feature was implementing support for GTA: SA's storyline in Underground and now it's here! As an optional choice, You will be able to once again play the storyline with all of the available GTA: Underground content to spice up your San Andreas experience, in addition you will unlock Liberty City and Vice City after you complete your hit on Marco Forelli in Saint Mark's Bistro.

The storyline support is optional and still not 100% finished, so we expect to find new bugs along the way.
