Alright, This goes for anyone else who can't or doesnt want to handle the constant bug fixes and small update patches - The Beta releases are not Manditory and you can download them as you please just to test out the new stuff and give the testing to the general public who then can report bugs that may have been skipped over by our Coder(s).
By letting the public test the Betas, the Science and Industry team gets a better idea at what the community wants in the mod, what needs to be changed and what could simply be tweaked or modified. Unlike Other mods, the Science and Industry team WANTS to hear people's suggestions/comments/Constructive criticism and dont just Toss the mod out whenever the team deems it necessary, without involving lots of public testing to make sure that when the "final" version is released, it is checked out completely and thuroughly by members of the community so that it wont be garbage and will be 10x better than the previous version and that any known bugs are removed and fixed, also, the public helps a LOT by catching bugs no one might have thought of or that might be very minor and slipped through someone else's noticability.

In short, It's a beta, you dont need to update but its appreciated if you did and report any bugs to the S&I Forums so they can be taken care of. There are still a handful of 0.97 servers, plus PNB has made downgrade patches incase you've updated but wanna play on the 0.97 servers still.
