It's kind of a big update, but I'm restarting the coding aspect of SHC from scratch. This is partly due to a bug in the old code that caused huge amounts of lag, and was apparently unfixable, but also due to the fact that I accidentally lost the sourcecode while reformatting my hard disk. Oops.
Anyway, work is underway again on SHC. The idea is still the same; mission-based co-operative gameplay versus AI opponents. The players play as elite military special forces units fighting against the Xen aliens which are now flooding Earth undirected after the death of their leader, the Nihilanth, and the capture of the Xen dimension by Humans. The time period is about a year after the events of Half-life; well before the events of HL2 and the Combine invasion.
