haha. just kidding. minor bug, major annoyance. if you use the new jetpack, when it begins to crap out, you 'll get a "suit2.wav not precached" message. open the items.qc with notepad, and search for "suit2.wav". remove the // marks (uncomment it, for you coders) of course coders don't need this tip. run the qcc.bat or fastqcc and you should be good to go.
i'm putting together a similar mod for those of you who have been around the quake scene a while and are still scarred by the most famous fox-ing of them all. of course I can't distribute everything, but I can distribute a patch for it that will enable more weapons and DMSP-style gameplay. for those of you who are interested, that is. hopefully to be released at the much ballyhooed next QuakeExpo.
