First of all, I would just like to say that in this update there will be no new media, sorry but we don't have any to show that is in a viewable state that would live up to ES2's high quality standard at this time. Hopefully we will have some for you next week.
As you all may know, part of the SDK is out, and our team of developers is very excited about it. So excited that some cancelled their boxed-edition preorders just so they could preorder off of Steam to get the SDK early. A large portion of the team does have the SDK which makes us very exciited, and puts us off to a good development start!
The members of our team are currently learning some of the advanced functions of the tools and experimenting with them. They have all been used to Half-Life 1 standards which were fine back then, but now we need to advance to Half-Life 2 quality and we are very capable at that. Our team has members who are very good learners and go into depths so they know the tool they will be working with for the next few months/years as best as they can.
All I can say right now is that I am very proud of the team and I hope we can show you some new media ASAP!
