Post news RSS Revisiting Hero of City 17 Mod concept

Hello. I'm Xlelight. When I started conceptualizing mods for Half-Life 2, the first thing that got into my mind was a mod that was based around Gordon Freeman's brother. Henrey Freeman. Yeah I know that's the character from Half-Life: Full-Life Consequences and I didn't even realize that. I didn't had that much good English so I couldn't express the ACTUAL concept of it. But now with much more experience in the Moddb community, I can.

So the game started around a plus-shaped map when the protagonist, Henrey Freeman. Wakes up. He's backstory is uknown aside from being reported missing when he was 16. Henrey then meets a Rebel who takes him to a under-ground base. The Rebel arms Henrey and leads him to City 17. He now learns that the Uprising has begun. After being ambushed he goes into the City 17 canals to hide. But instead of being safe he finds himself fighting Bullsquids and Houndeyes till he reaches another Rebel base. A Rebel recognizes Henrey and gives him a Jetski. This was the starting part of the planned storyline till I stopped working on the mod because of pressures of other mods. If you want to learn about the other planned stuff (I won't tell because spoilers.) in the mod reach out to me on Discord. My ID is Xlelight Gaming#6931 (I'll update the tag when my Nitro expires). I'll finish this mod when my other mods are finished.

I don't have anything else to say so here's a link to the archived page: Moddb.com
