FNFAL and a few other weapons are a work in progress right now. I will patch this in a few days when I get it finished up.
You can now loot money from corpse's. The amount is random and is not effected by NPC looting, guess they don't check wallets.
Scopes are back to the stock stalker setup with textures from Misery. If you want the open scopes, they are still in the optional folder and should be installed based on your directx and resolution setup. I went back to the old setup because the open ones really look like ass. Its not the fault of the artists, its just the way this game renders the scope overlay. In a modern game engine, its an actual 3d view, but X-Ray uses a 2d texture. I think I can come back and make the texture from scratch in PS, but I have to find the time to do it.
There is a crapton of other small fixes, but I'm not going to go into those.
For full credits, look in the readme file. If anyone has any crashes, PM me the crashlog and I'll see about helping you out. Keep in mind, that CS stock was never what I would call stable, so play this thing at your own risk.
Is there a way to disable NPC looting, this is an issue because it can cause unique weapons to disappear if A)an NPC has the unique and picks up a better one (causing the unique to disappear) or if B) an NPC has a "better" gun and picks up the unique anyway, causing it to disappear.
Never thought that I would be an issue. Most of the unique weapons are rewarded through dialog scripts. However, if you don't want to use it do this. Go into clearsky/gamedata/scripts/. Delete these files
1. Modules
2. Watcher_act
3. xr_logic
4. Xr_motivator.
That will work in this version, but the full version integrates it to the point were the game doesn't work without it.
Can't you mitigate the 2D scope thing by just using incredibly fine resolution and detailed images?
Clear Sky (the faction) somehow doesn't send out squads. At all. I can't leave the starting zone because of this. Am I the only one with this problem? Tried restarting several times.
download the 1.02.1b patch. Should fix the problem.
