I'm happy to announce that DBSource is now a MultiPlayer Mod and making the change has only served to strengthen the mod and the staff as a whole. We have achieved more work and content in the last two months than we have in the past year, so much infact that we have decided to officially announce our release date for the MultiPlayer side of the mod, with SinglePlayer still on hold (but not canceled) until further notice.
April 14th, 2007
Thats right. The first Public Release of the mod will happen upon the very day that will mark the staff's two year anniversary. To celebrate the announcement, we are also releasing a two and a half minute teaser trailer (download link below) featuring ingame action, taken from our staff testing sessions.

Many of the things you will see in this video are still work in progress, be it the map, models, textures or sounds, they'll all be improved upon come the release. Also if you wish to comment on this video or anything else covered in this announcement, please feel free to head over to our forums and join in the discussion with the rest of the community.
Brilliant! I only just started watching the series and I played the HL1 mod ages ago...Going to watch the video now:
Very good. The models are solid and clean and I look forward to the effects and so forth.
I'm really happy for the release date (two days after my birthday ! Woot) but I can't find the link of the new trailer !
go dbs :D
So, where is the link to that 2.5 min' teaser? :)
Great work, btw I think this is the trailer Moddb.com
it took a while for moddb to approval the file, sory, but it's available now via the link posted in the news update
not a dbz fan, but i will be dling this mod..just cause it looks great. I love how you guys went the extra mile to make the water effects, and the explosions and attacks. The character models look great.
April 14th! Two days before my birthday!
Happy Birthday to me, indeed!
BTW, I hope you guy's enjoyed the Music me and Aktulua did on that new video. Just a small sample of ingame music you guy's will be hearing.
Haha woops I watched the wrong video :)
Going to watch the real one now:
Right much better than the video I watched...You have a very talented character modeller and now the only thing that needs to be done is the fighting system and the effects combined with smooth animations.
Then you have my vote.
