Dear Commanders,

As I continue working on the Brute Force mod, I want to share a video showcasing the gameplay. This is especially relevant considering the positive reception of the last one. The video features me and AI allies versus two Yuri side opponents.

I have recorded this with the intention of highlighting some of the mod's features. However, it doesn't represent even 50% of them, despite being 5 hours long! Admittedly, I'm not the best player, or perhaps Yuri's might is just too overwhelming.

Here is the video (I will add timestamps as soon as possible). I'm not asking you to watch the entire 5 hours; feel free to skip around as you like.

This video showcases the highest difficulty AI logic, complemented by a medium difficulty one. Keep in mind that they are only two of the maximum seven opponents you can face in singleplayer, and I played with allies on my side.

A funny moment occurred when Yuri obtained the 'Demolition Drop' superweapon from random supplies, causing significant damage to my base.

Making the AI obtain and deploy random structures was really tricky, as we don't have access to the source code and have to work with the game's config files only.

Another amusing aspect was the "Chrono Monkey" squads attacking from behind and Yuri's wild dogs, which are invisible when moving, just like the Floater monster.

Regarding releases and other updates:

I've been using Ares and Phobos .dll libraries, primarily focusing on their stable releases up to version 0.7.12. From version 0.7.20 onwards, I've been using prerelease versions that include the 'beta' version of the Phobos libraries. The authors have warned these may have some instability, but in my experience, they work even better than the stable versions.

Thanks to these updates, I've been able to enhance many in-game aspects and add new features, such as XP progression bars for units.

Moving forward, I will continue working on unstable branches, which you can access on my GitHub. I plan to update these mostly daily, or at most every two days.

While I'm doing it mostly for fun and eductional purposes, I would appreciate any feedback from you. I'm eager for people to test the mod and would be grateful for any word from you, positive or negative.

With the Christmas holidays approaching, I want to wish you all the best and good health, so you can continue enjoying our beloved games. Happy holidays, everyone! Don't forget you must Obey Yuri!
