A comment by Deer hunter and many other atheists who say Christians have not been persecuted for 2000 years makes me wonder in a world with quasi-omnicience, people can be so ignorant it is blinding.

Persecution Worldwide

People running from harm

In more than 40 nations around the world today Christians are
being persecuted for their faith. In some of these nations it is illegal
to own a Bible, to share your faith Christ, change your faith or teach
your children about Jesus. Those who boldly follow Christ—in spite of
government edict or radical opposition—can face harassment, arrest,
torture and even death. Yet Christians continue to meet for worship and
to witness for Christ, and the church in restricted nations is growing.

Areas of the world where Christians face persecution include:

  • Afghanistan
  • Algeria
  • Azerbaijan
  • Bangladesh
  • Belarus
  • Bhutan
  • Brunei
  • Burma (Myanmar)
  • Chiapas, Mexico
  • China
  • Colombia
  • Comoros
  • Cuba
  • Egypt
  • Eritrea
  • Ethiopia
  • Gaza and the West Bank
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Laos
  • Lebanon
  • Libya
  • Malaysia
  • Maldives
  • Mindanao, Philippines
  • Mauritania
  • Morocco
  • Nepal
  • Nigeria
  • North Korea
  • Oman
  • Pakistan
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Somalia
  • Sri Lanka
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Tajikistan
  • Tibet (China)
  • Tunisia
  • Turkey
  • Turkmenistan
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Uzbekistan
  • Vietnam

Pray for them, pray that they do not suffer too much. But MOST importantly, pray they do not turn away from Christ even when they are faced with death. And that God can be with them.
Individuals - Pray that they:

  • remain strong in faith and trust despite physical and psychological abuse
  • will be able to forgive those who persecute them or who fail to support them
  • will experience and know love, joy and peace from God (Romans 8:28-39)
  • will walk humbly in their identification with Christ's sufferings
  • will be fruitful witnesses to others
  • will be able to balance standing up for their rights, yet responding in grace and love

Spouses - Pray that they:

  • cope with the sense of loss and isolation
  • cope with caring and providing for children alone
  • remain full of faith and hope
  • overcome any intimidation from police or other aggressors

Children - Pray that they:

  • are protected from long term psychological/emotional harm and bitterness
  • are protected from abduction or the "corrective teaching" some States try to impose
  • might know and experience the love of God

Converts - Pray that they:

  • receive help to grow spiritually
  • are protected and provided for should their family or community turn against them
  • will have the courage to lead others to know Christ

For there will be a time when ALL CHRISTIANS around the world will be massacred as prophesized, towards the Final Day. Hitler was just an example of what will happen globally when the Antichrist comes to power, and the increasing secular society we live in. Be strong.

fine i was wrong, i can admit that.

christains are the dominate religion on this planet and DO persucute lots to, dont try and deny that. but you are right i spoke out to broadly and I am sorry. and next time i will be more specific when i am talking to you.

but i have one thing to say, hitler was a christain- and spoke in favore of christainity and hated athiests, so please dont use him as an example, because it makes you look like a fool. use pol pot, he wasnt christain so he will work well.

Hitler was anti-religious. All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler:

10th October, 1941, midday:

Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure. (p 43)

14th October, 1941, midday:

The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death.... When understanding of the universe has become widespread... Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity.... Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity.... And that's why someday its structure will collapse.... ...the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little.... Christianity the liar.... We'll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State. (p 49-52)

19th October, 1941, night:

The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity.

All these quotes come from Hitler's Table Talk.

Hitler's pro-Christian statements were from 1922 and 1933. In 1941 he was clearly anti-Christian hence his statements above and persecution of Christians and other religions. Yea, Hitler was Christian once but later turned away from it just like Darwin turned away from Christianity.

actaully Hitler was pro christain and never denounced his faith.
and he hated athiests
1933 speech in Berlin: “We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out.”
and he was pro christain
"The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to positive Christianity. It will be its honest endeavor to protect both the great Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines (Lehren), and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of today.” –Adolf Hitler, on 26 June 1934
also
1941 Hitler told Gerhard Engel, one of his generals: “I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so.”
and He also wrote in Mein Kampf, "I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews, I am doing the Lord’s work.”
and finally, Hitler was born and baptized as a Roman Catholic. He served mass as a young boy and actually contemplated becoming an abbot. He never publicly repudiated his Catholicism, nor did he ever cease paying his dues.[1] He wrote in his Mein Kampf (1924) (My Struggle) that "faith is the sole foundation of a moral attitude" and that an attack against religion "strongly resembles the struggle against the general legal foundations of the state."

Hitler's actions clearly demonstrated that he was anything BUT a true Christian, because Christianity teaches people to show compassion for your enemies, not put them in concentration camps. If somebody who claims to be a Christian does things that contradicts the core of Christian beliefs, is it still logically correct to define that person as a Christian?

Those quotes of yours are from 1933 whereas my quotes come from 1941. Clearly more quotes are more accurate when determining Hitler's religious beliefs because they are more up to date than your ones.

Those sites I posted weren't religious save for the "simpletoremember" site which is Jewish. This shows you didn't even check them.

So to even the odds, I'll post a Christian site on Hitler:

Doxa.ws

And here's yet two more anti-Christian quotes by Hitler:

13th December, 1941, midnight:

Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery.... .... When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let's be the only people who are immunised against the disease. (p 118 & 119)

Night of 11th-12th July, 1941:

National Socialism and religion cannot exist together.... The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity.... Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things. (p 6 & 7)

So please stop spreading your lies. Hitler wasn't a Christian. Hitler was anti-Christian and anti-religious like most atheists today.

I didn't troll the atheist page nor did I troll your troll group.

"It's not religion we don't like, it's you."

I'm so upset. An internet stranger hates me. Excuse me while I go cry myself to sleep.

XD

Really Deer? I'm the troll? You're the one who called us retarded. You're the one who insulted us with swear words. You're the one who sent me three PM's ranting and waving at me and you're the only one trolling and spamming Moddb.

Keep this up and I'll report you. I've got your comments in my inbox where you've done nothing but insult me and if you keep stalking me like this, I will have no choice but to show them to an admin.

Your Troll Definition:

-If a person criticizes your beliefs, it's a troll!!!
-If a person disagrees with your beliefs and proposes an argument against them, it's a troll!!!!
-If you're offended because you disagree with an argument someone has proposed against your beliefs, it's a troll!!!

Sorry. That's not a troll.

According to Google's definition, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response.

Google.co.uk

Oxford Dictionary says a troll is a person who posts a deliberately provocative online post intended to incite an angry response.

Oxforddictionaries.com

Finally, webopedia says a troll is someone who deliberately posts derogatory or inflammatory comments to a community forum, chat room, newsgroup and/or a blog in order to bait other users into responding.

Webopedia.com

Now you're the one insulting people by the use of swear words, you're the one insulting entire groups by calling them "retarded" and you're the one insulting people by mocking religion with your Fred group. Nothing you say is constructive, formal or literate and yet I'm the troll for posting some pictures in the atheist group (which you thanked me for via PM before your little "free-thinking" friends went and deleted them) which constructively criticized atheism in one way or the other.

Oh and you've also posted off-topic in this thread. We were originally discussing about Christian persecution and after I debunked your silly and ignorant false claim about Hitler being a Christian, you turned this thread into a subject about me which wasn't what we were originally discussing. I've just defended myself against your childish troll attacks and there's no way of claiming you aren't a troll now because it's all there in black and white, clear as crystal.

As I said to you on ElfFriend's page: Go back to trolling in your Fred group.

I think the main problem in our modern society ( I speak of Europa and occidental country in general ) people think that have a religion, or a religious feeling is a bad thing. Because of that, there are only 25% christians people in Europa, and when you talk to others about christians persecutions, they just do not care!!!!

If your an atheist why are you here? Do you really have nothing better to do than whine about a religion that isn't yours? STFU, and if this page doesn't apply to you, go away I hope you have something better to do than go on a christian group page and rant. At least get some social interaction and go whine and cry IRL.
