*(Hints included in posts from now on)*What defines a 'puzzle'? Is it something that needs to be pieced together to find the end solution? The most simplistic definition Dictionary.com comes up with is 'To be perplexed'. So obviously the puzzle doesn't necessarily have to have any pieces at all right? The reason we have pieces is to make it easier for people (players) to understand and figure out easier.
Here's why I say this, in the game Myst theres a section where the 'puzzle' is mapping out a mini map in a notebook while navigating around in an underground maze. I have a puzzle like this in Crow.
When playing Crow (eventually when it's released) don't get discouraged from the puzzles. Though I'm not a master of the mental arts I'll try to give you players something unique and odd. A mod with puzzle-based story continuing gameplay.
