Today I recieved another PM from a guy on Filefront gaming forums in which he told me some of the bugs in the last version. Now that isn't a problem, what is is that he started of (I didn't even finish the first sentence, went right to moddb to post this, gonna read it fully when this is over) with all the bugs in Galactic Conquest.
Ok why is the guy posting this you might be thinking, cause now I'm really really really really tired of telling people this:

No this is not to an offence to the guy who sent me that pm, but to everyone around here, I'd like you to know this one this:
BEFORE you download/post/talk/even think about a mod, any mod, Republic at War, Thrawn's Revenge, Rise of the Mandalorians ANY MOD read the read-me. Why do you think it's called a read-me? Well let me explain that to you.
Because it can and WILL hold vital information about what you want to play/use/activate or anything so it actually PAYS OFF to take your 3 minutes of your lives to READ it. I've said it so many times, read the read-me here, read the read-me there, on countless occasions and all places over moddb, I'm now so sick of it that I'm posting this news post just for THAT. So I hope you all will finally get it, I'm going to continue to read the pm now so I'll be ending this message to everyone that wants to download any mod from moddb. And to the guy that sent me the pm, don't be offended, I've been thinking about such a message for some time ;)

Seems pretty obvious if you're having issues, consult the read-me instructions first, then if they don't help at all, ask the creator anything you're confused about...

let me ask you something in the read me does it tell everyone that has xp windows 7 vista how to install it how to make it work because if it does not you are the one that has ****** up not the person that downloaded it
What exactly is Windows 7 Vista? I know there's a Windows 7, and I know there's Windows Vista, but I've never heard of Windows 7 Vista. Also, don't blame him for anything about the readme. If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't even have a mod as incredible as this. If you don't know how to mod your own game, you have no right to be criticing people for their poor documenting skills (not saying you have any Geroenimo).

this might help you a bit the comment said in the read me did it explain to the ppl how to install it onto thoses systems.

Dude, a ReadMe is something that gives information about a certain product, be that a game or a mod. In a mod, a ReadMe can tell changes and possible bugs and issues with the mod. Incompatibility with Window 7 without a patch is a fault of the GAME, not the mod. So, no. Geroenimo doesn't really have to say anything about Windows 7. But I suggest you thank him for the nice link he put where you can find everything you want to know. If anything, complain about the ReadMe in FoC. But you couldn't do that either, considering FoC was made BEFORE Windows 7 came out. Good day!
I so like incompetent idiots who simply cannot handle something their selves, and God forbid it is their fault, No! They have to whine and blame someone else. Such is the behavior of *special* people. But it's not morally correct to make fun of handicapped (even mentally) people and seeing as you guys refrained yourselves from such childish comments and straightened king-mandalor out with rational, calm sense, I applaud you!
Hehe, well I'll own you in the end cause I have the *delete-comment* button. I have the things like the correct .xmls in my mod so even if you can't play FoC you can play FoC with my mod running, kind of strange. Anyway lets not troll one person, not even if he trolls the mod he's commenting on, he can be called to order, but nothing more than that.
You also own in the sense that you created all of this. Just thought that fact was noteworthy.

well you can't seem to answer my ? when it was a pretty simple one to answer so i'm not even going 2 bother asking you anything because it looks like your head is way up your ***.anyway i have played your mod and got it to work first time i was just asking a ? for thoses ppl that were having problem i don't think i want to download a mod from you geroenimo because your attitude just stinks in this community.

Trust me, friend. If you think Geroenimo has a bad attitude, you don't know some of the modders here. Sometimes, Geroenimo is arrogant, but there are FAR worse people in this community. Oh, and if you want your original question answered, perhaps you shouldn't follow it up with an insult. But, to answer your question: no, the ReadMe says nothing about 64-bit compatibility. And, if you really are asking that question for other people, as you say, then I will assist them with this nice little link that will make all of their compatibility issues go away.

number one rule when dealing with any modder- dont **** them off! follow this and you should find getting help is much easier and- dont insult them!
