due to some delays, im expecting the next patch to be out in two weeks, making the release around the 01/09/09
BUT on saturday the 29th of August there will be a mini-Sci-fi convention at Logan North Library, from 10am-1pm (Cnr Sports Dr and Springwood rd Underwood, Queensland, Australia) if u live in brisbane or close to there come down, ill be there, and so will a heap of other people. Ill have my laptop with the most recent copy of Sci-fi wars on it ready to be burnt to disks if u bring any (with all the sounds and everything)
On another note im also looking for people in Brisbane who are interested in helping me with the mod. Or people in general, no matter what u know i cna show u the ropes (or point u in the right direction anyway) so PM me and when i get my net ill get in contact(u must have a MSN account)
Anyway hope u guys are having fun
so heres what to expect in the next version, a full skirmish tech tree, for all races (hopefully, ATM its BSG and SG and im working on ST, SW will be last because...well it shouldn't take me long to do). A lot of new units for SG, BSG, ST and SW (either reintegrated into the mod or just added). Also there will be something else.... and i wont say what, but ull like it.... (its whats taking the longest)
