Here is a glimps of the mod in action. I have focused mainly on making it as L4D friendly as possible. You will be able to use this mod in any L4D campaign, but eventually I will have a custom campaign to take advantage of all the changes. Enjoy peeps.

Sorry, I dont understand what you mean. The released mod will have refined values for weapons and enemies, so dont worry.
Are you going to adjust the storm-bolter so that it is rapid fire?
I wasnt counting on it, no. I wanted the storm bolter to have the same sort of appeal the pistol had in halo, just with more ammo. If you want full auto, assault cannon all the way.
Each Bolt round would destroy a normal human. Also your enemy models except genestealers should be smaller or make the terminators and stealers bigger. Good progress so far
Thanks, I am still on the fence if im going to keep the zombies in or not. Originally I was not, so there would be no normal human for size reference in game. They are in the video because I like mowing them down:P
if possible though it would probably become too much work. make them these half-Human half-Genestealers mutated thingemabobs?

Looking good, although it looks weird seeing them move so fast. Do you plan on using voice clips from the old space hulk games?
I think the storm bolter should be full auto though, perhaps with a lower fire rate?
Speed will be adjusted, but it might make players either bored or angry.
I was actually going to try to produce my own voices. The ones from the older games were pretty terrible.
There are only a few weapons that the marines use in this mod, so I need to further differentiate them from each other. I dont feel the need to make the storm bolter full auto as there is already an assault cannon for that.
Probably going to sound a bit cynical but here goes. The Storm Bolter is a Sub-Machine gun while the Assault Cannon is an Heavy Anti-infantry weapon. The argument that there's already a weapon that goes full auto and that there is no need to include another one doesn't make any logical sense and is fairly short-sighted. Especially when you're basing a mod on an established universe when the familiar weapons and such are misrepresented based on shoddy logic.
The whole purpose of the storm bolter in 40k was to allow marines to keep up the firepower of a bolter while using it one handed while being able to dual wield a power weapon or another one handed weapon.
Only suggestion I have if you want a Pistol type weapon that doesn't break the established canon would be a Plasma Pistol.
But like I said the logic behind the argument doesn't stack up, and its just the fairly common opinion that we want a Storm-Bolter that's full auto. It's nice to see another warhammer mod out there and I wish you luck, and I hope I wasn't too harsh.
