A lot has happened in the last few weeks. First of all we changed the name of our game. The old name Survivalist was already in use by an indie Xbox game, and we wanted a shorter name. The game is now named after the island it takes place on: Survius.
We also have a new 3D modeler on the team and he's working hard to get more buildings ready, so we can work towards the first alpha version. His name is Mac, and here's an example of his work:
I've been working on zombie AI. The island is huge (roughly 5x5km) so that brings some technical challenges. But I've come up with a system, and the first tests look promising. I've shot a video of a few zombies following me around through narrow buildings, without them getting stuck.
