After finishing with the pause system previously stated, now I can show you the first look of the new character sheet / inventory window we will be able to play with.
It is a clean GUI, sleeker than the last -I think so!-. It fits perfectly with the theme of the game, giving a feel from the sci-fi of the 80s. I tried to make something that gives as less confusion as possible, because I always felt bad when looked other games with a confusing or too abstract GUI. I prefer to follow a more "classical" path, "a la Diablo", and all its spiritual successors. In short, no new "inventions" for the inventory. No really needed.
This week I will begin the implementation of this GUI to the game. Nicer features will be added thanks to the engine, like holographic effects.
