Final Insanity - A new HL2 SP/MP Modification.

Story(Short) - The town of Solaria, a normal, way out of the way, town. Nothing weird ever happens here, nothing ever goes wrong. Until now. A sudden accident, a thousand bodies, and no trace of them. A few survivors, fighting to keep themselves alive, and one lone, lost man. Waking in an abandoned building, and defenseless. Will he find out who he is? Or will he be lost forever, in his Final Insanity, lost to wander the streets, in a constant search for other life? This, is up to you.

Features -

We here at Final Insanity are working to bring to the Half-Life community a true thriller of a Singleplayer mod. Many mods have tried (They Hunger the most successful) but none have come across with the amazing brilliance of such games as Silent Hill (Copyright©). Our plan is to create a thriller that will keep the player on the edge of his/her seat, and make them sleep with a nightlight.

Final Insanity will not be your average run-and-gun. On the contrary, it will be a slow paced, horror game. There will not be such things as a mini-gun, or a grenade launcher. You will be forced to make your way with smaller weapons, pistols, shotguns, and melee weapons.
Final Insanity will bring to you a story that Half-Life brought to the FPS genre.
3rd person view - To go along with the horror theme, a 3rd person view will be the main view, although the game may be playable by 1st person, if we deem it necessary.
Monsters - The creatures of the game will be completely unique, and built to scare the player into screaming for his mommy.
Levels - Final Insanity will strive to be at least as long as Half-Life and Half-Life 2, if not longer. We want the experience to last a lifetime, and not be over in one hour.
Multiplayer - Multiplayer will be supported in the way of a deathmatch mode. A Co-Op mode may become available overtime, but probably not for the initial release.
Sounds - The overall ambience of the game will be built to scare you half to death, even before you encounter anything that would be built to scare you.

Expect this mod to be released around a year after the HL2 release.
