The kind chaps at multiplay.co.uk are currently running a free public HL2: Assault server. You can find it at 85.236.101.54 or through your steam list, and it should offer much better ping (especially in europe) than the existing test server. Speaking of which I played a few good games with several people last night, and it was great fun. Thanks to all of you who are helping out by posting suggestions in the forum, I'm working on the bulk of them right now. I'd like to get an intermediate release out possibly by the beginning of next week, and, if i can find another HD (or someone wants to donate one ;) ;) ) I'll get the linux port compiled and out the door. Right now though, I'll keep people posted on my dev progress through the dev journal on the hl2assault.com forums. If you wanna chat about anything catch me in #hl2as on irc.fxhome.com :)
