that was in a lightsaber duel + obi wan in the 1st was in disadvantage in the 2nd dooku cold simply beat up anakin,but that doesn't was the emperor plans so he have stunned obi wan in order to corrupt anakin+ obi wan is more awesome.

hmm as a scholor of the master list this order is incorrect yoda was the most powerful force user as he channeled his energy through every jedi so when they all died he didnt have the power left to defeat papatine yoda was no.1 force user

I agree with dj, but also think Obi-won should be either number 2 or 3. The reason because he knew that dying would make him stronger, and he was stronger than Vader (remember, he beat him on Mustafar).

Not exactly a valid point as power is transferred to saber skills. If Anakin had been stronger than Obi-won then he would have won. He didn't, therefore, he lost.
That's why Obi-won is stronger

it seemed to me that Palpatine ran originally because he didn't think he could face Yoda. Remember. Palpatine just gained control of the galaxy. His goal. So why fight a powerful and revered Jedi Master if you can just escape? He had everything left to lose. So he ran. Yoda stopped him. So they fought. Yoda was on the offensive - Palpatine on the defensive. Yoda SEEMED to be the superior duelist. But Palpatine kept up with him, move for move. Realizing that they were at a stalemate, Palpatine then tried to get away from Yoda to used long-distance attacks against him. Yoda managed to barely dodge these. Then Palpatine and Yoda were fighting over control of the lightning. It was a battle of wills. Yoda managed to throw it back at lightning - but it ended up helping Palpatine instead of hurting him. Yoda was flung like a pebble. And he ran because he KNEW he couldn't defeat Palpatine. He lost his chance To defeat him and he said it to bail organa

oh yeah i know that but u kinda have to give a point to palpatine for that so it gave him a chance and the fact that everyone knows that he had unlimited power? but i know were ur coming from with yoda and the jedi around him
while it is true papatine had alot of power he used his battle meditation often while it is unknown if he was using during the republic era it weakened him as well it should have been an even fight but yoda was considrebly weakened already the idea he could have defeated papatine then was ridiculous before then yoda would have kicked his but.
i also have read and if i find the link il pm it to ya a official starwars site not sure but lucas was quoted saying that palpatine was a brilliant duelist and was taught very well by his master but unfortunately it wasn't portrayed that well in the movie and sidious killing the 3 jedi masters at the sart of the confrontation was supposed to show it and people got the wrong idea of mace actually beating him and said it was apart of his plan to lose to windu in order for him to turn anakin!

hmmm....
the only real problem is that Dooku should be much higher, (went toe to toe with yoda and stopped his attack), and mace should be much lower, cant stop or use force lightning without a saber, and nowhere in canon does it say he was a spectacular force user, just the best duelist in the galaxy. And technically, Yoda should be the better force user, but he is always running away or scaring someone off, and never actually finishes any of his fights. And Obi-Wan should be a little higher, after all, he never truly is defeated by Vader, he just sacrifices himself to push Luke.

Revan should be under Yoda and Palpatine, Nihilus at maybe #5 under Dooku, Obi, Yoda, and Palpatine, and right above Vader.
Nihilus is only poweful because Kreia made him so. Revan is the most powerful Force user in the galaxy at that time.
