Hey Everyone,
We've moved over onto the SDK Template code, which has ready made teams with 3 classes each and working vehicles to name a few features.
Here's some updates on the rest of the mod:
- Work is continuing on the 'Resistance Base' map, but still isn't ready to show off to the public yet.
- T-800 Endo model & textures are done. Rigging & animations have been started.
- A few of our weapons have been coded in.
- Some work has been done on the menu, but nothing to show yet.
- We ditched the handheld GE-M134 Minigun for the M249 SAW which will be using armor piercing rounds.
So things are still being worked on. ;)

bah, M249 instead of minigun :o i dont recall terminators using those :p ah and by the way, will you change te walking running animation of termiantors? or its gonna be just like in UT3?
At Sc90, Mark-_3k, VzV We never said the terminators wil be using the Minigun,
This was for resistance, and replaced with M249 saw
cus its fits more for realistic purpose also to the movie,
Only Mounted Miniguns have been used in movie,
This model wil be modified to T3 Plasmacannon cus the have the simaler looks, also might be seen back as Mounted weapon
There will be new animations across the board. ;)
If this is future war, surely all the terminators are using "phased watt plasma rifles" rather than 20th century guns? So why would they be using SAWs or miniguns?

Because there is a lot of guns left after the "Judgment Day " and also a lot of ammo for those left... And, generally speaking, you don't need uber plasma rifle to kill human being... So, for terminators, it's all fine...

SkyNet Terminators will use all plasma-based weaponary. Resistance soldiers will be using anything they can get their hands on as they wouldn't have the luxery of choosing weapons. ;)
My suggestion:
Resistance:
M249 as portable support/LMG weapon.
M4 or M16 as primary weapon (Standard issue military weapons right before the original Judgement Day). Their relative effectiveness against terminators could be contributed to armor piercing ammunition.
Pipebombs.
Terminator:
Minigun as support weapon (Could be mounted in the environment and ripped-off for use by Terminators).
Plasma rifle as primary. But Resistance soldiers can pick up these from destroyed terminators and use them.
As for why would Skynet use Plasma weapons against humans? Assuming they are powered by electric high-tech batteries, they would thus have limitless ammunition, assuming Skynet control whatever few active power plants remain. Could be a gameplay feature too, with Terminators recharging the non-loaded magazine(s) using power from it's internal battery. In the hands of a Resistance soldier, it would have a finite supply though.
