Intro:
Well, I stayed up to 3 am finishing the model of the RX8, and it came out fantastic. All that hard work definitely paid off. I am incredibly ecstatic about the model.
This short Render test video is a sort of pre-vis to the texture side.

There has been atleast 20 racing mods for crysis but all failed :S. Hopefully this one will be good.
I really hope you mess with the default physics for vehicles. There's been lots of racing mods for FPS games lately, but the problem is, in my opinion, they all come with horrible physics for vehicles. Source Engine, Unreal Engine 2.5 or 3, CryEngine... The vehicles in these games feel *horrible*. And so using the stock physics model in turn makes the mod feel horrible.

... Wow. You'll notice I'm tracking your mod, hmm? If your mod was OUT, and had good physics, I would say "But SHIFT breaks the mold!" Fancy models and no vids doesn't show you have good physics. I was actually referring more to Unwheel and Crucible, for UT2k4 and UT3, respectively.

I don't know who voted your karma down but they are completely ignorant. I agree with you completely and anyone who doesn't agree probably hasn't tried out a lot of the racing mods for Source and other engines. I hope you overcome this problem because the Crysis engine seems like it could be the perfect candidate for this game.
