Yeah. I sort of lost interest. It could just be a temporary thing, or not.
"But you were so close!" you cry. Truth is, I'm really not that close to the mod's completion. I still have two full races to go. And making them would just be an incredibly boring and mundane procedure for me.
You see, I mod games mainly for the learning experience and mental exercise; I love solving problems. But, once I've learned what I've needed to learn, and once I've solved all the problems, modding gets really boring, really fast. And I'm afraid I've hit that point with the development of ITOG.
Other reasons for me putting this project include, but are not limited to:
-Homeworld 2's abysmal engine.
-The desire to develop my writing, art and music skills.
So, sorry guys. Look on the bright side, though - there are a ton of good, released, Homeworld 2 mods out there.
