MadMech was interviewed last night by the webmaster of HalfLife Expert, a big French site. The interview was done in English and in french. Here is a short excerpt from the English version:

LinKuFF : Was it a big disadvantage to create a mod for an game/engine that was not yet released ?

MadMech : It's not so bad. Without the endless HL2 delays, we wouldn't have been able to finish our game design phase. With all the things that réact together in the game, it can take a while to plan it all out to perfection. We also got ahead in the art department. The development of the mod should be shorter, since we are so well prepared.

Its a informative interview, not really new stuff is revealed, but general info about the project.

Anyway having interviews here and there always help, because more people know about the project and can give help has needed. Even file hosting for beta tests is sometimes terrible helfull.

There are 3 new things in there that nobody knew about before, as far as I know...

1. What are the main differences between these two factions ?
2. Do you plan to make a single player version or will it be multiplayer only ?
3. How many weapons and vehicles will exist in your mod ?

We aren't in charge of asking the questions though, merely answering whatever they throw our way :) hehe

Thanks for the support!
