I'm still working on animations of the tank movement, this short video shows progress. I'm trying to make tank movement seem natural just by playing skeletal animations, no heavy physics like wheel colliders involved. I think the wheels and tracks movements look pretty realistic.
As usual I'll first release single player version of the game, kinda like early access version, having all features of the game finished, just without multiplayer parts. If gamers purchase that early on they will save substantial amount of money (around $10), as the final version, which will include multiplayer, will cost twice that amount.
I'm still not sure if there are any players at all interested in playing this kind of game, which is a team death match where you can't shoot enemy directly, since the projectile won't reach the other side due to gravity and other condition (strong wind and such), but have to adjust the angle.
I made a free Flash game that is quite basic, game which is still on my website and it was fairly popular some 4-5 years ago. Now I'm trying to make a quality version that is significantly better in every way.
If you're interested, do leave a comment. I'm working simultaneously on multiple projects in my spare time and I'd rather focus on something gamers really want to play. Whichever project gets attention from more than 100 gamers it will become primary focus of my spare-time development. Thanks!
