It is our first entry in developer diary. It’s hard to show you what amount of progress we have made so far so let’s give a check what we already have.

Models and animations:

  • Human and alien characters
  • Assault rifle with reloading animation
  • Flashlight with fixing animation
  • Flare
  • Shuttered glass and broken grate
  • Doors <3

While playing, it is also possible to enjoy sound effects such as footsteps, gunfire, clicking of flashlight buttons, and many more.

We have the first part of map with some crates, generator, and disturbing captions on the wall as well.

Right now we are fixing the bugs we have encountered while playing and we are trying to optimize the gameplay mechanics to give both sides more or less equal chances. Our concept artist is working on the sketches of the next model of human survivor. Hopefully you will be able to see how she looks soon ;)

Lore is already more or less created. However, there is a lot of polishing that need to be done. Characters have to have their background stories and personalities that will be shown in the game.

Well this is kind of important as well (thanks for reminding Tobi). Speaking about successes: our game was in the finals of Digital Dragons Students Talent Show, and tomorrow we are having a trip to Łódź (we are leaving at 6:00 and guess who is the driver) to take part in finals of ZTGK 2017. So my dear reader, keep your fingers crossed!
