HARD DIFFICULTY NOW AVAILABLE PLUS OTHER FEATURES
We recently updated visceral cubes with a new difficulty, which brings several changes to the gameplay, such as more enemies with increased speed, enhanced pathfinding and better awareness. Playing in hard difficulty will also enable you to explore new areas of the station. You can see a glimpse of the new areas in the following video.
The update also includes the following features...
- Rear Cam. When you are spotted, a camera with the rearview of the player as he runs will be displayed. It will help you get track of how far the enemies area and thus react accordingly. The rear cam can be disabled via the pause menu if needed.
- Medkit Pickup. This new people will be available in both difficulties. It will increase the HP of the player up to 300 HP. While in EASY difficulty, it will make the game even easier, in HARD difficulty it will be a huge help as the player would now be able to take a direct explosion for 150 DMG and several non-direct ones for 50 DMG.
- Stealth Improvements. Before this update, crouching served for the player to hide behind objects such as tables and boxes to avoid detection. But now, crouching also decreases the chance of being detected when near enemies. In other words, if you plan to steak past enemies, you better be crouching now. Just make sure to be far enough before you stand or the enemies will detect you.
