With the final maps being well underway, and the final story details being fleshed out and the puzzle pieces coming together - I can confidently put a release date on this bad boy!
The Release Date...
I went ahead and did it. Redridge is so close to being a working Beta, I thought, "Why not?". To be safe, however, I have slated the official release date as October 31st, 2025. Seems far off, but it ain't. I want to make sure everything is just right. So, mark that date on your calendar!
Additional Announcements:
Arsenic Tea Party will be responsible for providing the music for this title! Check it out on Newgrounds:

As stated, a long time ago, Redridge is canonically part of the Half-Rats universe. Things will make sense if you read the full story of Half-Rats prior to playing this mod. Another reason why the long wait is a boon. The following is NOT an easter egg.
Another thing of note is that I've implemented a handy way for the player to know what can be read. We MIGHT actually create a hint system for ALL objects of interest that can be turned off in the gameplay options menu. Within that system, readable/lore objects will be annotated with a "?", hints for game progression and interactable objects will be marked with a "!".
The Assembly:
So, if you've read the Half-Rats story, you'll know who the Assembly are. In Redridge, you'll be introduced to their combat component - The ASPRU. Assembly Paranormal Response Unit. After getting their a**es handed to them by Half-Rats and his horde in 1906, the battered Assembly went on to rebuild and kept up with the times. Let's a take a look at the state of the Assembly in 1999:
Pretty cool. A heavily modified Bradley IFV. It is equipped with the ability to discern primordial energy, primitive sentients and all levels of manifestations using special optics and sensors. The Assembly is desperately trying to close up the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary breeches caused by their botched attempt to locate Half-Rats, as well as keeping the populace "quiet" and any monsters contained. They are also running contrary to the Federal Gov't and law enforcement, so they really need to keep their noses clean, so they don't get caught. (What I mean to say is that they are not an officially recognized government organization and are operating illegally...some things never change!) They don't know what happened to Half-Rats, but we do! Or you will if you read the story.
Got the same capabilities as the P4A2 in terms of detection. It just flies.
For some reason, the ASPRU insists on using the 1919A4 as their GPMG. Maybe their thin budget has something to do with this?
Just like the readable Redridge Chronicles, you may find the ASPRU's Digi-Dossiers lying about. They can be read like any other readable - all so you can gain some insight. Also, since it's the 90's and close to the new millennium, they call it the "OS2000".
Alright, that's enough of the Assembly...Let's talk Louis...
This is the state of Louis Sausage Co. in 1999. It was abandoned since 1970...Very strange to be seeing lights on and things working which were previously NOT working. That can only mean ONE thing: Louis is back and he's angry. Louis is a Level 5 manifestation according to the ASPRU, and he's capable of manipulating his physical surroundings and even turning back the clock by raising the vibrational frequency of matter in our physical plane. Pictured here is the mascot for Louis Sausage Co., Louie Landjaeger! He brings wisdom with him in the form of signage.
Even the giant walk-in is back operational...though I can't guarantee any of the food is edible. Fun Weenies, Long-Dogs, Boston Butts, Polska Kielbasa, Srpska Kobasica and Nasty Boys were once on the menu in many homes across the region. These are the last of them and they are rotten.
There ya' go. How tragic! He never got his funeral. He was incinerated...I mean, immolated...I mean, cremated.
Now, for the E-begging aspect...As some of you MAY know, I made a Heath games Patreon. Not linking it here. You can find it eslewhere!
I love you, good night!

Looking good as usual! 😸
Thanks! As usual!
Can't wait for this mod! looks very unsettling. I imagine Louie Landjaeger being a mini boss that screams "Don't report accidents!" while trying to murder you with an axe or something.
It's definitely got a vibe...the gameplay needs a lot of polish though.
Looks pretty sick :D
Keep going
Its cool
Black Ops HECU Marines? Nice.
