Description
The German campaign takes place in 1917 during battle of Cambrai. It contains 5 large-scale missions from the start of the British offensive to the German counterattack . Players will be able to take control of stormtroopers, large variety of artillery pieces and even captured British tank!
Historical background
Attacking by complete surprise on November 20, the British tanks ripped through German defenses in depth and took some 7,500 prisoners at low cost in casualties. Bad weather intervened, however, so that the cavalry could not exploit the breakthrough, and adequate infantry reinforcements were not available. By November 29 the offensive had been halted after an advance of about 6 miles (10 km). On November 30 the Germans counterattacked with 20 divisions, and by December 5 the British had been driven back almost to their original positions.

Beta test
Testers' recruitment has ended. Those, who have been chosen as testers will receive all necessary information via e-mail and Skype.
Maps look great! The Campaign sounds interesting, a few odd things in there (captured British tank, mostly) make the game play all the better.
I love how you stuck the beta test at the very bottom. :)
How long is the beta test going to be? I mean, I don't want to report a bug list every week for a year :\
2-3 months I guess. And it will be ok if you'll miss one week. I just don't want that testers post bug list once a month or less. We need to fix bugs.
A small nitpick - the trenches look far too long and straight. Any man with a submachine gun can pop down and take out a whole line of people; not to mention the danger from shells and grenades. In reality I think the trenches angled and bended at more regular intervals.
Uh, submachine gun? In the first world war?
But this guy has a point, the trenches do seem unusually straight.
The Germans had the MP18, this was used in WW1. It was the only confirmed SMG used in the war.
But it wasn't available in November 1917. Though I can say that we have all kinds of trench systems in game, don't worry. Such straight trenches are probably communication trenches or uncompleted ones.
Nice mapping here for WWI !
I'd like to beta test
I play men of war every day, and not wait to launch the First World War version! I'ma huge fan of this game
