Testing my game engine in Chromium. Available for testing now. Try it out!
As many following my progress know I am about to release a very early (pre alpha) demo of Phoenix USC very soon. I have uploaded a 2D / 3D (with lighting) demo testing Alien Phoenix (used by Phoenix USC), the new game engine I have been designing. This test will help to ensure the upcoming demo release of Phoenix USC goes smoothly. You can help by testing the web based demo listed below. It should run great in Chrome and it will give you a look at the performance and interface used by Phoenix USC.
The demo features a test of both 3D and 2D with lighting effects. It also uses Alien Phoenix's window based GUI. A very cool experience in a web browser. Just click on the link below and the demo should run in your web browser. If you have any problems try reloading the demo.
Alien Phoenix 2D / 3D game engine test - Web Based.
I am making wonderful progress toward getting a very early demo of Phoenix USC available to all. I'll be working hard to try and get it out in the next few weeks. Till then try out the Alien Phoenix game engine test and get a taste of what is to come. :D
If you have any issues please let me know. This demo uses web assembly. I may post a more retro browser compatible version that does not use web assembly if issues are reported. Thanks!
