Hello, guys, and with little delay, Merry Cristmas to all :)
I didn't have much time the last days to work on the mod, but here are my latest results - the GAR fighters.
I'm pleased to tell you that I have made the transparent windows and the cockpits with pilots.
So, the first fighter is the V-19 Torrent. It will be available in early tech levels only, so the pilot is in Phase 1 armor.
At middle tech levels, you'll gain access to the next craft - the ARC-170 and it
will be available until the last tech level.
First with Phase 1 pilots
And of course with Lock and Unlock S-foils animation
And you can notice some cool details like the additional gunnery control panel next
to the front gunner (the middle clone)
And of course later with Phase 2 pilots
Next at later techs, the clone Z-95 Headhunter will be ready for action
Only with Phase 2 pilots
And at the last tech level the new Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter will appear
So, this is for now, very soon we'll post some ingame pictures of the fighters,
first in space, later over land battlefields :)

Will every star fighter ave the hunt ability? I tend to have tons of star fighters sitting around doing nothing because of the big battles!
We will use a minimum. Focusing on large starships battles
Yeah, that is very annoying... So, yes, so far, all fighters have hunt ability. The ARC-170 don't have, but it's a multirole craft, good as fighter and as bomber, and it has "ion shot" and "lock S-foils" for now :)
The models in the images are just... Amazing.
Are the pilots necessary? Do you even zoom in far enough during battles to even see them?
Seems like unnecessary strain on computer systems with the extra polygons and textures.
Don't get me wrong, they look great.
Well, the models are low poly and I don't think this will cause lag. And you can see the pilots, during the game, if you use the cinemati camera :)

no offence here... I actually think this is great... but... the pilots are too small... and if I could be so bold... please use this 3d model for the ARC-170...

The pilots are sized precise, I used the ship's dimentions from wookieepedia
And we have our reasons not to use that model
I'm sorry... it's just that star fighters seem to be a lot smaller... or the pilots seem to be a lot bigger from the films and also this picture here:

there you can see the pilot of a v-wing being a lot more tight in that cockpit... reminds me of a bf-109 haha...
You're not the first who saw it and said about. We will be forced to revise and alter the model :)
also, if you're not using that 3d model... could you at least add that little tild to the arc-170's wings at least? that way it won't seem so... odd...

if you look at the the model in the picture, you can see the wings of the arc-170 are plain straight... but the real model has its wings tilded down a bit... that's what makes the arc-170 look so cool in my opinion... and I really hate the models with the plain straight wings... no offence...

Are you asking about the mod or the fighters?
I have a few suggestion (If it is possible): How about you have all known clone battalions, so unlike in RAW, you don't have squads, then up and up, instead you have a section (2 or more squads). Like in the vanilla EAW, rebels and storm troopers would come in groups of two (section). So you can create a section of the 212th, or a section of the 41st, the 501st, ect. Their should be a special squad you can make that contains a few airborne troops that are produced in a special barracks. Also I recommend that the pilots for the ARC-170's are the ones seen in Episode III. For every battalion of clones you do have, you should have their respective leaders, such as Obi-Wan for the 212th, Anakin for the 501st. Each battalion should also have a squad leader that you can create in said special barracks (which you can only build on kamino and Coruscant ) where you can create Commander Cody and his squad, or Commander Gree and his. They should boost ONLY their respective battalions like how a rebel officer squad would do on a vanilla battle. Some planets like Umbara should have a militia. Such as but not limited to: Ryloth, Christophsis, Naboo, Umbara, Kashyyyk, Onderon, ect. Major Republic planets such as Kamino and Coruscant should have troop deployment buildings instead of civilains for example: Coruscant would have senate guards and shock troopers, Kamino would then have the gray shock troopers. Any diplot in the game such as Palpatine should always have a squad or two of Senate Troopers, though some would not fight, they could boost the moral of all troops.
An idea with the trooper phases; once you reach tech level 5 (or 4) all companies of troopers automatically get their models turned into phase two troopers. The cheapest clone battalion to make would be plain white clone troopers, then the 501st and 212th would be a little cheap, the 41st and any other "Elite(ish)" battalion would cost more.
