I realize that there have been very few updates on the mod over the past several weeks. And, for those loyal fans that have been closely following this mod, I must apologize. That being said, I will like to say that we will be releasing more updates over the past few weeks to keep interest and excitement running high within our development community.
So, to start off this development series, I will showcase the new hacks w0dk4 has put into place. In the video, I explain what these new hacks will do and how they will change the gameplay for individuals that are willing to try this wonderful mod. I hope you enjoy the movie!
As I said in the movie, expect a BIG update on mod development within the next week or so!

Holy ****! Every update you just see a glimpse of them pushing the limits of what the Freelancer engine can do.
This is absolutely amazing. Capital battles in Freelancer always felt limited somewhat due to lack of vision. This changes everything.
I also like the changing of outfits according to your faction. Again, just having changing outfits was an ordeal that would involve disconnecting from the server, or something of that nature. This completely eliminates it.

Hmmm, this mod looks better than last year (when I first played it).
I hope the community is friendlier though, when I tried it out I was pretty much run off with attitude and rudeness.
Ah, yeah, i know what you're talking about. Yeah, the most populated server housing Freeworlds had one of the worst server admins i have ever come across. But that was such a long time ago.
This mod has been in development for the past two years and is nothing remotely like the old FWs :)
When this mod is released, though, I hope you'll enjoy it much more than the previous versions.
I don't even have words to describe just how awesome and stunning the work shown here is...
I got a question. Will it be possible to turn off the added advanced effects like better bloom?
As disappointing as it may be, my computer simply cannot run such effects well. Just having that extremely detailed Star Destroyer alone is enough to throw my computer into a fit.
But the bloom is the one that truly sends my computer into a meltdown. Will there be an option before implementing the mod on FL Mod Manager to have the option off?
