Lead-developer and Owner of Fennecai Fox creative, Fennecai, here. How have things been?

It has been some time since this page was updated. For that matter, it has been some time since it was even accessible. And while I mistakenly thought everyone was up-to-date knowing what form the mod has taken since Our Last Post, It has been one heck of a ride since then. I'll admit, the mod even died for a while... But, now?

It's alive and well!

we've released the mod's biggest update recently, which is also the mod's Main, finished release, and I'm excited to share it with everyone.

On the shoulders of giants - pft's 2nd map

Given the general reputation Portal 2 mods tend to have in the "it's literally a graveyard" department, you'd be forgiven for wondering how it is possible for a mod to not only release in full finished condition, but to do so after it died, and in a drastically different form than it originally took.

... It's alive! but, how?

During the course of PFT's development, we definitely hit quite a few interesting roadblocks, not least of which was the accidental abandonment of the development team's private discord server, which happened as a result of my aforementioned misassumption that everyone was up to speed on what was happening. As the mod's lead developer, I would love to write down the whole story of PFT's incredible development history at some point in the future, however, the gist of it is that, despite others' bullying efforts to ensure this mod never saw the light of day, as well as a slew of mental health issues, I've finished what I set out to do, and everyone who has taken the time to comment on the mod since this update was released has had nothing but praises for it. 5 stars all-around.

Portal: Forever Testing is now available on Game Jolt in its best iteration yet. Complete with 4 maps of various themes (each of which have been heavily improved over previous versions)!
