So here what the mod IF:WFW is about:


The mods initial release is based on the War of the Five Kings, from the book version with inspiration of the tabletop war game:

Along with Inspirations from Total War: Westeros, and some ideas 7 Kingdoms mod. So, nothing is based on the GoT tv show, all houses are based on their book/miniature counter parts. Future updates will add more houses, and armies from all over the ASOIAF Universe. Then plans for armies from Dance of Dragons, Roberts Rebellion, and other historical wars. Then depending on modding tools, a campaign will be in the works. However, even if tools don’t come for a very long time. Plans to move to ToB are in the works. We will turn Britain into Westeros. While not the ideal scenario, it is a back up plan.

What content is in IF:WFW 0.01 release/FAQ?

First initial release of the mod will contain all main houses of the War of the Five Kings. That gives players 8 houses to play around with. They all have their own pros and cons. They are all divided by regions (Similarly to 7k).

The MP system is inspired by Tabletop Wargames: such as ASOIAF Miniatures, Lions Rampant, other miniatures wargames.

The mod does not aim to be realistic in weapons and armour, though realism is in mind.

So what does this mean?

All armies are all in a point value system. The higher point value(cost) means the better the unit it is.

How is the point value (cost) determined?

Unit PV is determined by a mixture of things such as: Base Armor value: Light, Medium, Heavy, Very Heavy Base Cav value (if applicable) Very Light, Light, Medium, Heavy, Very Heavy, Super Heavy Unit Size inf/Cav Skill/Training Level Melee Weapons Ranged Weapons Abilities/Formations Region & Kingdom specialties.

Other things this release includes is, Increased battle map sizes, and 10 Custom maps made by Crapshack (they are old GoT maps, though still useable)
