i love the weapon models.
Very nice, Great to see some awesome progress. Cant wait to get on the battlefield! :p
the guy with the uzi has like no aim tough :p
looks cool, are you able to see your legs while walking?
were u allowed to use counter strike content? sucha s the famas and the AK rifle sounds?
They're not making a profit off it, so it's legal to use these sounds
It's a shame that they probably won't bring back the oldschool gameplay from earlier versions of Firearms. I really missed the "fun" factor that the newer versions put little emphasis on.

am i going crazy or are you just using stuff from FPSB?
your not... and these ppl stole the firearms IP
FA2 stole FA ip, not FA:S. FA:S has the blessing of the original FA team. =)
read: this
and: this
FA:S also mounts the CS:S .gcf, it doesn't distribute CS:S materials at all - more pointedly, it does not distribute CS:S sounds. These sounds are being used temporarily and may be replaced for the public beta.
did firearms incursion aka incursion had the blessings.. i guess this is just another mod that uses the firearms name.
As I understand it, they changed their name to Incursion mod because at the time the FA team did not want anyone using the FA name. We approached the FA team well after this incident and received their welcome to use the FA name. =)
yeps looks like i was mistaken i full heartedly apologise
some of the worst acting to show off the bleeding to death stuff ever. But meh it looks ok. Might want to get more media than a few seconds of shooting with variations of the hl2 smg though.
Ok why do people keep dragging up the situation of FA2 vs FA:S. It's not like either team is making profit. Both teams are creating nice looking work and both mods will be different and which one you choose to play is entirely up to you...At the end of the day it's a simple download, no money is involved and both teams are working their *** off to make an enjoyable game for the community to play. You will have two choices to choose from instead of being stuck with just one. For example if you play FA:S and you dislike the gameplay you can always give the FA2 mod a try and see which one suits your taste. All the problems which occured are in the past now, and all your doing by dragging up the past is destroying what could be the sequal to the Firearms mod.
Mike, it's because FA2 stole the work of another mod, namedly the original FA. If you don't think that's a big deal, then perhaps you should think about the harm that did to each of the FA developers. And if you don't think that's a big deal, perhaps you can consider what effect this would have on the mod community in general if stealing the work of other mods was commonplace and easily ignored. Do you think many people would want to contribute huge amount of their personal time? No, this is not something that I think people should ignore.
And yes i agree with Issa. I hope people will take the time to read the explanation:
here: Firearmsmod.com
and here: Fasforums.com
Some of these guys used 5 years to get the final version of FA (FA 3.0) It is sad that only so few people even know the truth about FA2 and the original FA.
Well Good Luck with FA:S models look nice indeed : )
Erm...I didn't see any examples of this. :/
