Heres a combat scene against the military in my Half-Life/Resident Evil FPS. I dont want combat to be the main focal point of the game, but a an element for progression and pacing. Environmental story telling and puzzles will ride front seat, but if your going to do combat or violence..punctuate it and give it context. They are a baddies..so dont be a baddie.. The enemies telegraph there attacks via radio like in the orioginal Half-Life, which adds to immersion. Theres a stealth system, the player can whistle to distract enemies. Enemies have senses; like sight and hearing, and can also react to be being hit or taking damage. I'll work more on the A.I as the project continues..
