The last few weeks have been busy with changes to the spell system as well as bug and performance fixes for the engine.

One of the big changes I have been working on under the hood of the game engine is a better system to randomly generate unique game world details without intersections. As I've started adding more structures to the world gen I've started to get collisions. The new engine changes prevent that from happening and reduce the number of checks that take place during generation. This lets me add a lot of new structures to add flavor to the world. These structures can be everything from a struggling human encampment to an unknown statue in the middle of nowhere.

The spell system has been reworked to include mutators and mitigators. So far I've added runes for Bonus Damage, Gravity, and Radius. This is only the beginning though and I have a lot more planned. I've also been working on the art for the projectile and aoe targeting shapes.

It isn't shown in these gifs but the radius mutator will increase the size of these AOE targeting shapes.
