The Hatchling Games reveals Enferi, a Player versus Environment(PvE) multiplayer hack and slash game that has been in development since early 2018. Enferi will give hack and slash fans what the genre has been lacking, a low entry, fast paced PvE multiplayer experience with split screen mode.
Enferi is designed to be an easy to pick up and hard to master game for people to play together, or to master in a solo adventure. Armed to the teeth with an electrified sword, two rifles and dark magic, the players goal is to survive the demonic forces of the Enferi for as long as they can. The studio will launch a Kickstarter campaign on October 2018 to bring Enferi to Steam, Playstation 4, Xbox One and the Switch.
The players enter the first stage to endure as long as they can in an increasingly difficult environment. Each stage features a different area including a boss fight that needs to be beaten in order to progress through the game. Enferi will have quite similar gameplay to zombie mode games, you will be able to level up your character in certain aspects, but you will lose it all due to permadeath. Which means you need to start all over again each session. With each play session lasting as long as the player can stay alive, the longer you can endure the Enferi, the more stages and bosses you will discover. The studio aims to add as much stages as the players can handle.
