The E3 2016 website has gone live, and its category system has revealed some interesting information that lends credence to the rumours that the Xbox One will be introducing virtual reality games to the platform. A category has been added for Xbox One Virtual Reality games, and four developers have already listed themselves under the category.

One such developer is Rebellion, who is currently working on a virtual reality reboot of the classic arcade title Battlezone. The game has already been announced for PC and PlayStation 4, but the developer’s inclusion in the Xbox One Virtual Reality category suggests that Battlezone might be coming to Microsoft’s console as well. The other three developers are Maximum Games, 3DRudder, and Readily Studio.

Maximum Games and 3DRudder are also listed under the PC and PlayStation 4 Virtual Reality category, suggesting both developers are working on multi-platform VR games or accessories. Earlier, reports also indicated that an unnamed European developer was also working on an Xbox One VR game in an established franchise. Rebellion fits the bill, being based in the UK.

E3 kicks off on June 14, so we’ll have solid confirmation on what Xbox’s VR plans for the future are soon.
