Hey guys, some big news for all our fans...

Development on a retail edition of DrugWars has been officially announced. We will be using the underacknowledged game engine A6 (http://www.conitec.net/a4info.htm) to power the single and multiplayer game. Since we are really just a mod group, we have a fairly tight budget. However, after the first DrugWars title has been released, we are keeping open the possibility of purchasing the CryENGINE.

The exact content of the game is still under consideration, but some suggestions have included a Gold Edition style game including all of the maps (of course redone for the new engine) of DrugWars, as well as DrugWars: Italy. Other options included a DrugWars variant centrifocal on singleplayer, rather than multiplayer.

The current DrugWars team is still working on the mod DW, and much of what we are producing will be included in the retail game.

We will start hiring a team for the game soon (see note at bottom), so this is a real career opportunity for people that couldn't have otherwise been part of a game development company.

This opportunity was only made possible to us by the recent partnership of Dark Wolf Design (http://www.darkwolfdesign.com) and ICMafia Studios. Dark Wolf Design is a team currently working on some extremely impressive games (most notably the upcoming World War 2 title Peace In Our Time [http://www.peaceinourtime.net])

We are proud to be able to announce this, as this has been our teams dream since day one.

N.B. The payments for all involved in the production of the retail DrugWars title would be received after we have a publisher. You must understand that I am still in high school, and don't have the money for a professional, corporate endeavor.
