Hi all, first things first, i just want to say sorry for leaving this update so long, life and work has been crazy busy the last few months and shows no real sign of slowing, but i am trying my best to get this mod ready for release, but just keep get thrown those pesky curve balls.
Well, to start off the new job, longer hours meant less time working on the mod so things got dragged out a bit, then both my team members, j.m. and foreunner32, facing similar circumstances to me, decided to leave the mod to pursue their careers in the real world.
So facing total failure in the mod, i was stuck in a hole with very little to do about it. i had all the tools and materials but know idea how to put it together. i had previous experience in importing ships to X3 with varying success, but as for actual modding of missions, new galaxy and a whole host of other important factors that would of made it a true total conversion mod, i had no idea.
maybe in the future i can find the time to make a full conversion, but at the moment im just too busy, so what i have decided to do is release some of the ships in xsp format as well as a weapons pack, which should give you guys a good taste of what this mod could and possible may well be like.
ive got a number of friends currently testing the ships and weapons ready for release, which if all goes to plan, will result in a release in a week or two.
if you look in the video section there will be a new teaser gameplay video and in the images section is some pics of some of the most recent work, that hopefully will make it ingame in the future, to keep any of you impatient souls busy till release.

Anyway ill post more news when testing is done and release happens to inform you all on what the situation is.

Regards
Gblro001

Hmm... I have been thinking. I know how to access the games built-in Galaxy editor. If your release includes at least a UNSC and Covanant Trade and Shipyard Station as well and a decent array of ships i may be able to set up a "Mini" galaxy, If i can figure out how to get it out of X3 i will send it to you. Anything i can do to help ^-^

try looking on the halo or x3 forums for modders who could get involved and help. think the x3 forums would be you're best bet as they already know how to mod the game

also i know for the mass effect mods they take the ship's files strait out of mass effect and can use the model's to save a lot of time in x3, don't suppose you could use that with halo? i know there aren't that many in the games but could maybe use a few of them? (i know little or nothing about modding I'm afraid so sorry if I'm talking rubish

Thats illegal with halo due to microsofts terms and conditions of use , they have to make everything themselves (or use models made by other modders ) and i not sure about masseffect but i think it is the same kind of thing as well.
