The Doom 3 Expansion Pack has been officially announced today in an Activision, Inc press release. Named 'Resurrection of Evil' and co-developed by Nerve Software and id Software, it continues the Doom 3 storyline with more demons trying to kill you and swallow your soul!
The expansion will feature new maps, characters, and weapons (including the classic double-barrelled shotgun), update multiplayer, and will of course require the full version of the original Doom 3 to run. The release date has not been announced.

they did a bangup job on RTCW
I agree with ImTheDarkcyde. Keeping in mind that Nerve did the Multiplayer for RTCW. This should turn out nice.
