Great mod, just needs to be optimized for some video cards, such as the NVidia GT line, I tested it here with NVidia GT 710 game opened windows mode does not open full screen, more good mod

I'm really liking this mod the best so far, in the Monorail Skybridge phase the doors are not in HD it's a bit strange the whole scenario in HD the doors were left out of the mod, in some scenario the control panels of the base on Mars are not in HD other stages too. Will have some mod update to fix. Thanks for the mod

I'm really enjoying this mod, congratulations for the developers, there are just a few mission loading bugs like: Doom 3 RoE in the Phobos Lab mission - Sector 2. Doom 3 Lost Mission - Exis Labs Sector 1 the access door talks to the doctor to reactivate the mod portal does not open even clearing enemy area of hell. please fix it, great mod for this classic shooter

I cleaned the materials and models base folder, Doom 3 had this loading problem also in the Caverns Area 2 phase, but it was fixed. Doom 3 Lost Mission and RoE still bug loading stages :-(
Please ask me a question, do you have to have the other mod updates in the Doom 3 BFG folder? all are installed, but I want to install only v4.0 in the folder, just for testing to see if I can get this bug out of loading phases Doom 3 RoE, Doom 3 Lost Mission. Sorry English, thanks! :-)

Hello. Firstly, thank you for this mod. Secondly, is there way to run mod without RBhidef.exe and BFAhidef.exe? Creators of other doom 3 bfg mod (UltimateHD) offers to run RBDoom3BFG with command line parameters:
RBDoom3BFG.exe +set fs_resourceLoadPriority 0 +set fs_game @UltimateHD
Is there same way to run your mod? I'm a linux user, but linux version of RBhidef.exe and BFAhidef.exe are not provided.

I had a look at the EXE's.
RBhidef.exe = RBDoom3BFG.exe
BFAhidef.exe = DoomBFA.exe
You can bypass the need for the additional EXE's by simply using these command line parameters:
RBDoom3BFG.exe +set fs_game hidef +set fs_resourceLoadPriority 1
or
DoomBFA.exe +set fs_game hideF +set fs_resourceLoadPriority 1
Depending on which version you intend to run.

just tested this and there are some issues.
right in the beginning when the drop ship lands the sky is pixelated and something seems wrong compared to the default sky which looks way better than the hidef one.
these textures enhanced by ai? theres just gibberish instead of text, numbers or symbols on a lot of textures. its good if you only walk by but on closer looks its a bit disappointing. textures appear wavy and warped. they could have a better resolution and more detail if possible.

I noticed there are some particularly glitches when using this mod with RBDoom3, some of which is noticable right away when starting the game:
- Jack Cambell's briefcase that he carries in the intro is missing.
- Likewise, the jeep you see at the beginning of Communications Transfer Maintenance and Transfer Station does not render as well, with only the associated lighting effects being animated. Every instance where the animated jeep is meant to pass by in every subsequent level is also not rendered properly.
- The Soul Cube appears as a black box when first introduced (once again showing key assets having rendering issues). It is only when you pick it up that the Soul Cube appears as it should.
- As someone might have stated, much of the text and other readable jargon on walls appear very warped, which is a sign of (early) AI upscaling. (If you have to use AI upscaling, might I suggest something like the latest version of Topaz Gigapixel or Photo AI which is able to discern text material. Otherwise some manual tuning or manually editing the texture might be required.)
Hello, I downloaded and added all where it should be, I press RBhidef.exe and nothing happens, the game doesnt start?
try right click and launch as admin. launch the exe from a admin cmd console window to see if theres an error.
