I disappeared, but now I start to work with this game... again.

I lost a lot of time while tried to take part in one gamedev jam and then my PC has broken.

But now i'm ready to work on. I decided to add some plot to this game, but details i'll show you next time/ Now i want to tell about graphic improvement, that i added to this game.

I reworked how background looks again, previously it worked through very dumb method and looked a bit boring, so now it's working using patricles and has better idea. Also i wanted to add to background parts of other levels showing that we are located in very confusing place.

Background


As you see i also added textures. I decided that it is boring to look to plain one-colored level. I played around with blur and sharpen tools in GMS sprite editor and as a result got 10 interesting textures.

Game is nearly done, but i have to add one tricky thing - Level generator, because there is only 45 levels and i won't add new gameplay elements to make level around them.
