Post news RSS Devlog #11, big update!

After a long delay we are again online! Check out our latest updates about Sky Improvements and New Gameplay features!

Posted by on

Hi guys!

In this build we introduce the dynamic sky system developed for our Sahara Engine (night sky is still early in development) which already can emulate the moving sun and multilayered clouds and eventually will support the complete day-night cycle with complex weather effects. Along with these technical features we are also continuing to add more interactive items to the game. Some of them can affect the gameplay significantly and potentially create the whole new field of experience for the players, who like to build things. Others will provide a lot of valuable information and an access to various quests. Here you can find the detailed list of all changes we've made in current alpha.

We are happy to announce that starting from the next alpha update we are going to deliver the first digital rewards for our preorderers, who has reward’s tier “Wanted Poster”. Now they can contribute their own image to the game. Their stylized photos in “wanted poster” style can be uploaded to it already in the next alpha version update. If you want to be seen in Exoplanet’s world, please contact us using this online form on our site and include your account name in the message. We will send you the details about how to create your ingame wanted poster.

For those players, who want to support Exoplanet’s development, peordering the game on our site would be also a good option to get famous in the game’s Universe. This and many other digital rewards as well as a permanent access to all updates and actual release version are awaiting our generous supporters.
