Just wanted to tell you all that the fundamental game code is at a stage where the game is technically playable (using a very dull "in-house" debug interface) and where I am able to form and alter the game dynamically through easily customizable data files. There is still a lot missing and the code needs plenty of cleaning up, but at least the project has reached an important milestone and the game is coming together really well!
The next step is to implement the game mechanics into the actual graphical user interface, where the player actually walks around and interacts with items and characters in each area. Until now everything's been tested through some very simple and ugly form controls. This is something I believe shouldn't take too long but I've been proven wrong before so we'll just have to wait and see.. :).
Stay tuned!

I'm really excited to hear this. I can't wait to see what it's like in action!
Great to see an update. Keep up the good work.
