The mod's background is basically done and so is the detailed map. So now we start with the quests the players will actually do, main-, side- and guild quests.

We have some basic ideas, things we certainly want in. The big point of writing it down pre-release is to find out where the hard parts are going to be, what areas we want the player to explore during the story and which we are going to save for the explorers around.

You'll find out their not much linear quests around. A small example, but ill try not to expose too much:

You overhear a conversation of some guild members at the Venificus (Alauria, mages guild). Their talking about a well-known member, a researcher even, who's been missing. You go to the head of the guild and ask more information about this. Turns out nobody knows where he went but you're welcome to help find him. The head of the guild accepts your help and gives you the researchers’ room key. In his chamber, you find his journal where he kept a lot of notes in. One of his more recent notes are about a strange lake.
