December Update

While the release of Crossfire 1.9 dates back just a few months the new mod version had a major impact on the Freelancer community and its players. For the very first time a true addon to the Freelancer storyline has been released and the reactions we got from the players were overwhelming.
Still, Crossfire 1.9 is a very young mod. Even two months after its release a large amount of conceptional features are still in testing phase and get activated bit by bit.
I'd like to use the chance to thank all the players which help us to make this mod better with every day.

Yggdrasil Battleship

While Crossfire 1.9 was silently released on 2nd October 2011 it had the chance to prove itself during the past weeks and for December 2011 a final update will be released through the mod launcher which will enable all remaining features of the mod.
This update will make the mod just perfect.
100% stable
100% bug free
100% fun

Just like announced earlier this year we will release several DLCs in 2012.
New Ships, better equipment, additional missions. Most of them will be available to all players while others will be only available for players which gained ingame Awards on the official Crossfire server.
I am sure that you will like what we have in mind.

Freelancer 2.0: Crossfire

A true addon deserves a special name.
As we are reaching the 10th story chapter with Crossfire 2.0 this mod has become an inofficial sequel to the original game.
We have broken the limits with every released version. We will do it again... in 2012.
