The game emphasizes an immersive feel through using atmospheric noises, vibration controller feedback, screen shaking, impact frames, and player kickback. Players who reach a kill streak of three (three kills without being hit) activate the "Rage Chicken" mode which changes the Chicken to a fiery color and allows him to do double his normal damage and makes a more dramatic screen shake. Dead enemies ("baddies") randomly leave behind gems of varying value that can be sold to a merchant to buy ammo or first aid kits.
