Welcome to the 14th update of Casus Belli. In this update you will discover our latest map and two new weapons. We also are extremely proud to announce Casus Belli officialy begins its Open Beta phase !

New level: Island

To start this update, we want to introduce our new map, Island, a small Pacific island where an Eastern Corporation military tactics center is based. The goal for Freedom Organization is to control and own the island and its fortress after a successful landing on the beach thanks to amphibian heavy vehicles or boats. Eastern corporation's goal will be to defend every single meter of the island using some of the helpful infrastructures and remaining buildings over here.

In a nutshell, the Island level is: a 6 June 1944 D-Day with picturesque coastal landing, followed by an epic trenches warfare and urban combats.

New weapons

  • Nora M84: It turned out the Island level was quite suitable for howitzer like the Nora M84. Nora M84 is a Russian cannon which has been improved by several Eastern-European countries. Although the Nora M84 is suitable for killing infantry, it really shines against vehicles. Firepower and armor-piercing shells enables it to pierce any kind of shield.
  • In other words, it should help the Eastern corporation team to defend themselves against any boats or heavy vehicle on this map.

  • Uzi: Finally, a new weapon joins the arsenal of Casus Belli, the famous UZI. This Israeli weapon, still used nowadays, will be available for Medics. Thanks to its light weight and fast reloading, it will be extremely efficient for close and short ranged combat.

Good stuff as usual but there's one thing that definately spoils the media;

Casusbelli-mod.com

^^ The way the plaster and concrete have broken on the building looks fake and unrealistic, it's way too clean and looks really bad in an otherwise brilliant looking environment.
